Provides hands-on support and guidance across delivery teams - notably through executive training and Agile team training. Regularly assesses team's Agile maturity to ensure team members are skilled to complete their roles using Agile methodology. Acts as subject matter expert for Agile methodology in the CUBE.

Define and own Agile methodology in the CUBE

  • Define details of new Agile ways of working, establish best practices and develop/document methods and learnings
  • Ensure methodology is properly understood and used in all teams via training sessions, workshops and coaching of project teams, including best practices for development
  • Champion the fail fast attitude in the CUBE
Build Agile community across teams in the CUBE and with Client.

Perform regular evaluations of the Team's Agile maturity

  • Observe and guide teams through all phases of the Agile lifecycle
  • Regularly assess team maturity - every 3-6 months; provides ad-hoc support to struggling teams based on results
  • Attend key ceremonies, review artifacts and interview practitioners to check practices against the standard Agile maturity framework
Identify potential steps to accelerate and reach the next maturity level

Provide leadership across the CUBE

  • Deliver Agile training sessions for the Central Team
  • Coach and train Product Managers and other delivery team members in Agile methodology
Develop Agile Coach capability across the CUBE

Shared Accountabilities and collaborations

  • Shares accountabilities with central team to ensure success of the Agile implementation
  • Collaborates with the Central Team to design annual operating plan for the CUBE
Collaborates with the Central Team to define and cultivate culture at the CUBE

Key Performance Indicators

  • Deliver efficiency of Agile coaching and training sessions
  • Achieve Agile maturity scores goals
  • Drive high team productivity through the adoption of Agile methodologies
Enhance time-to-market for products

  • Bachelor's degree required
Graduate degree (MBA or Master's in related field) preferred
7+ years of experience; 2-3 of these years in Business Technology and minimum 2 years in role with Agile responsibilities, and demonstrated experience managing a team preferred
Proficiency in PC Windows environment (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Scrum coach certification
Scrum master certification

  • Strong knowledge of Agile rules and practices, with extensive experience working in an Agile organization
  • Experience as an Agile coach, within large-scale Agile transformations with previous accountability for delivery outcomes using Agile practices
  • Hands-on experience and Expertise in Scrum methodology ideal; experience in multi-team and other methods (Kanban, lean, lean startup) preferred
Servant leadership, with a mission to support Agile Teams and the business in achieving its goal

  • Entrepreneurial, experience in the start-up scene and/or with innovative tech firms
Project management expertise
